Princess Leonor Military Scedhule

2023 will be a busy year for Princess Leonor as heir to the Spanish throne. According to Zarzuela palace, Princess Leonor will undergo military training this August for the next 3 years after graduating from UWC UK Wales. She will prepare to her future role as Supreme Command of the Armed Forces, which the Constitution attributes to the head of state.

Princess Leonor will begin her training period at the Military General Academy of Zaragoza, where the academic year 2023-24 will run with the employment of lady-cadet. The 2024-25 will do it as a lifeguard at the Naval School (Pontevedra) and will include an instructional cruise on the Juan Sebastian de Elcano school ship. Finally, she will be incorporated as a student alumni for the course 2025-26 at the General Air Academy of San Javier (Murcia). Upon completion of his military training she will be lieutenant of the Armies of the Earth and Air also Ship's Chief in the Navy.

Princess Leonor & Infanta Sofia Next Public Appearance

It has been confirmed that Infanta Sofia will have her confirmation at May 25, accompany by her family especially Princess Leonor who already finish her study in UWC UK wales and receiving her International Baccalaureate diploma at May 20. Unlike Princess Leonor's confirmation, this time more relatives are expected to attend Infanta Sofia confirmation, since Covid-19 restrictions are no longer applied in Spain. After this, Infanta Sofia will follow Princess Leonor step to study at UWC UK Wales for 2 years. Meanwhile Princess Leonor will stay in Spain for her Military training.

The Palace Reveals Princess Leonor’s Salary in Military

Another news came from Zarzuela Palace, this time the palace said that Princess Leonor will get the monthly salary that all students at the Armed Forces teaching center are entitled to. Students of military academies are entitled to remuneration corresponding to 60 percent of the salary set for subgroup C2, without entitlement to extraordinary pay. This amount is deducted the discounts corresponding to ISFAS (Armed Social Institute) and the Social Security quote. This means Princess Leonor’s salary will be €417,67 per month. In addition, her salary will increase after she receives an honorary position at the end of her second year to €668 per month. The government said that although Princess Leonor has joined the military academy, she will still get the same treatment as other students.
